Salade Niçoise | Seafood Salad in Southern France
Hey! Do you want to enjoy the South of France in a delicious way? Then have a bowl of Salade Niçoise! This is a seafood salad from Nice that usually includes a variety of fresh vegetables, salad, egg and tuna.

Ingredients (serves 2-3):

1 small lettuce, cut into large pieces
2 tomatoes, cut into wedges (or small tomatoes)
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 small cucumber, cut into large pieces
2 eggs, hard-boiled
1 can tuna, drained
Black olives, pitted
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 clove garlic, crushed
salt
black pepper

Directions:

1. place lettuce in a large bowl.
2. cut tomatoes, onion, yellow and red bell peppers, and cucumber into large chunks and place on top of lettuce.
3. cut egg into 4 wedges and place in bowl.
4. place tuna in bowl.
5. add black olives.
6. in a small cup bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, salt and black pepper and serve over the salad.
