Hi everyone! Today I am going to introduce a delicious traditional Turkish snack, Börek!

Börek is an important part of Turkish culture and an integral part of the Turkish people's lives. This snack originally originated in Turkey but is now widely popular throughout the Middle East and the Mediterranean. It is a baked snack made of a thin crust and meat, cheese or vegetable fillings and is usually enjoyed at breakfast or afternoon tea. Here is the recipe for Börek:

Ingredients needed:

-500 g thin crust
-300 g spinach
-200 g white cheese (or other dairy product)
-1 onion, chopped
-2 garlic cloves, chopped
-1/2 cup olive oil
-Salt and black pepper

Cooking steps:

1- Sauté the onion and garlic in a pan until soft.
2- Add the spinach and continue to saute until they are soft.
3- In a separate bowl combine the dairy and spinach, season and mix well.
4- Cut the thin crust into four equal pieces and place the dairy and spinach mixture evenly on each piece of crust.
5- Roll up each piece of crust and brush the top with olive oil.
6- Place the Börek in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for 20-25 minutes, until they turn golden brown.
